Staging homes for resale is really catching on.  A Staged home sells faster and for more money than other homes by making it stand out from the competition.

 

While television has shown us many tips and tricks to preparing our home for sale, there is still a bit of skill involved in knowing just what to do that will make the most of your time and investment.

 

As your Realtor, I offer a professional Home Staging Consultation to assist you in the art of preparing your home for resale. My Home Stager has earned the Accredited Staging Professionalä (ASP) designation. In addition, she has studied Feng Shui, and Use What You Have Decorating. She works with the "flow" of a home, helps to eliminate clutter, helps to edit and arrange furniture, and even assists in enhancing curb-appeal. As much as possible, she will incorporate existing furnishings and accessories to maximize impact for minimum cost.

 

The one-on-one Staging Consultation provides a custom fit for your needs. It takes about 1-2 hours and results in a few on-the-spot changes and a comprehensive itemized list of recommendations to help you get ready to compete in the real estate marketplace. With the recommendations in hand, you can choose to implement some or all of the changes. If you need additional assistance we can provide a free estimate to complete all or part of the project.

The first impression is the key factor in selling a home. A potential buyer has made up their mind 10 seconds after they step in the front door. That does not leave too much room for fault. With the aid of a professional Home Stager, your house will make that all important first impression a notable one for potential homebuyers.

  1. Showcase your space: The goal is to present your home as a lifestyle. Look beyond a room's current use and create a visually appealing and functioning room where potential buyers can feel readily at home.
  2. Neutralize colors: A neutral palette attracts the most buyers by making spaces seem larger, and allowing potential buyers to envision their furniture, collections, and activities in the room.
  3. Big paybacks are in store:  De-clutter, de-personalize and re-arrange. Use what you already have, and spend little or no money.
